How a coaching session works

Numb the pain

For each of your pain points, we’ll tease out the facts from the made up story you’re telling yourself. Why? Because it’s the made up story that’s causing you pain. Not the facts. By staying objective, you neutralize the experience.

Feel Better

Decide how you want to feel, and we’ll replace the made up story causing you pain, with a fact based story that causes you to feel what you want to feel. Happiness, confident, compassion? You pick.

Repeat as needed

When our time comes to an end, you’ll have a manual you can refer back to, so you can apply these skills to every aspect of your life going forward. With these new skills, you’ll learn how to take control of your thoughts and return to happy. Over and over.

About You & Me

During one of the hardest years of my life as a stepmom, I committed to getting happy. The year was riddled with drama for my stepfamily.

I tried every research backed strategy for feeling better, and even many of the woo woo strategies some swear by.

Meditation, music, power poses, cognitive behavioral therapy, non-violent communication training, EFT and mindset work – I did it all.

Despite circumstances remaining unchanged, I’m now the happiest I’ve ever been.

Thanks to this awful year, I learned it’s not your experiences that causes you pain, it’s your interpretation of the experiences that causes you pain.

What a relief that is, because the only thing you can control in relationships is your thinking.
